Spring is fresh foliage, first flowers and a season full of promise. Snowdrops and daffodils followed in quick succession by the ‘Snakeshead’ fritillary are the herald of spring for us with primroses and cowslip growing amidst them. The bog garden which has been bare all winter bursts in to life and grows at a prodigious rate to cover the ground.

The shrubs and trees display their blossoms and the herbaceous plants such as tulips, camassia and alliums brighten the borders.
